Check Your Eligibility & Criteria
With 25 categories to enter, there are so many awards to get involved with! Make sure to check entry eligibility and criteria before submitting your entry. Don’t forget, all categories are free to enter and you can enter as many as you’d like.

Avoid Jargon
While our judging panel is made up of eCommerce experts, all types of organisations are encouraged to enter our awards and therefore could be inclined to use wording, phrases or acronyms that are not necessarily common terms.

Include Details & Statistics
Stats, quotes and percentages are great tools to back up the points in your story. If you can demonstrate measurable success, the judges will see this as proof of success which boosts the credibility of your claims. The more detail you include, the better!

Upload Supporting Evidence
Our awards portal allows for supporting evidence to be uploaded. This can be imagery, testimonials, screen grabs, charts or graphs etc – these uploads will not be marked as part of your entry, but use the opportunity to support your submission.

All our categories are judged by an impartial panel of experts from across Ireland. All categories are collectively judged by a group of judges – the entry with the highest average score will be selected as the winner.

We would love to have you at the awards ceremony however, it is not mandatory if you choose to enter. We encourage all finalists to attend the event so they will be able to receive their award should they win one.

Introduction

Overview of Awards and Objectives

The Irish E-Business Awards, hosted by Ashville Media in partnership with Chambers Ireland, are designed to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in the e-business sector across Ireland. These awards aim to highlight innovation, excellence, and success in various aspects of e-business, providing a platform for businesses to gain recognition and further their growth.

Definition of Key Terms

Participant: Any business, individual, or entity submitting an entry to the Irish E-Business Awards.
Awards: The Irish E-Business Awards as described in these terms and conditions.
Organizer: Ashville Media, the entity responsible for organizing and managing the Irish E-Business Awards.
Judging Panel: A group of selected experts responsible for reviewing entries and determining award winners.

Eligibility Criteria
Participant Location (Ireland)
Participants must be based in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland to be eligible for entry.

Business Size and Industry Restrictions
The awards are open to businesses of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises, across various industries involved in e-business. However, specific categories may have particular eligibility requirements which will be detailed within the category descriptions.

Exclusion of Ashville Media Employees
Employees of Ashville Media and their immediate families, as well as individuals involved in the administration of the awards, are not eligible to enter.

Entry Process
Online Submission Method
All entries must be submitted online via the official website (ebusinessawards.ie). Participants are required to complete the entry form and provide all necessary information and documentation.

Entry Deadlines and Timeline
All entries must be submitted by the specified deadline outlined on the website. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Required Documents and Materials
Participants must provide all required documents, including but not limited to a business description, case studies, and any other materials that support their entry. Specific requirements will be detailed in the entry form for each category.


Entry Fee Details

There is no entry fee for participating in the Irish E-Business Awards. Submission is free of charge for all categories.

Judging Process


Overview of Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged based on a set of predefined criteria, including innovation, impact, creativity, and overall contribution to the e-business sector.

Details of the Judging Panel
The Judging Panel will consist of industry experts, professionals, and thought leaders selected by the Organizer. Some judges are listed on the official website, while others prefer to remain confidential. The Judging Panel can be contacted through Ashville Media Group for any inquiries or concerns regarding the judging process. The panel’s decisions are final and binding.

Confidentiality and Impartiality Assurances
All entries will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Judges will evaluate entries impartially and without bias. Additionally, all judges are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure the confidentiality of the entries and the judging process. This NDA is available to participants upon request.

Announcement of Winners
Date and Method of Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, the date and location of which will be communicated to all participants in advance. Winners will also be published on the official website and through media partners.

Details on the Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will be a formal event where winners are recognized and presented with their awards. Details regarding the date, venue, and agenda will be provided to participants.

Prizes
Description of Awards and Recognition
Winners will receive a trophy or a certificate, along with recognition across various media channels.

Collection or Delivery Terms
Awards must be collected in person at the awards ceremony unless otherwise agreed upon with the Organizer.

Finalists’ Attendance at Gala Dinner

Requirement to Attend Gala Dinner
Finalists are required to attend the Gala Dinner at the awards ceremony. Failure to attend may result in the disqualification of their entry, at the discretion of the Organizer. If a finalist is unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, they must notify the Organizer in advance to discuss potential arrangements.

Use of Personal Data
Data Collection, Use, and Protection Policies
Personal data collected during the entry process will be used solely for the purposes of administering the awards. The Organizer is committed to protecting the privacy of participants and will handle all data in compliance with applicable data protection laws covered in our privacy policy

Consent for Marketing Use
By entering, participants consent to the use of their business name, logo, and entry materials for promotional purposes related to the awards.

Intellectual Property
Ownership of Submitted Materials
Participants retain ownership of all materials submitted; however, by entering, they grant the Organizer a non-exclusive license to use these materials for promotional purposes related to the awards.

Right to Use Materials for Promotion
The Organizer reserves the right to use submitted materials, including business names and logos, in promotional content across various media platforms.

Disqualification
Grounds for Disqualification
Entries may be disqualified for providing false information, failing to meet eligibility criteria, or any other breach of these terms and conditions.

Disqualification Process
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its discretion. Disqualified participants will be notified.

Liability
Limitation of Ashville Media’s Liability
Ashville Media accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by participants as a result of entering the awards or attending the awards ceremony.

Disclaimers on Awards Process
The Organizer does not guarantee any specific outcomes from participating in the awards and is not liable for any actions taken based on participation.

Changes to the Awards
Right to Modify, Cancel, or Suspend the Awards
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the awards at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants through the official website and via email.

Communication of Changes
Participants will be informed of any changes to these terms and conditions or the awards process through official channels.

Adjudication Final Decision
Ashville Media’s Decision is Final and Binding
All decisions made by Ashville Media regarding the awards, including the judging process and disqualification, are final and cannot be contested.

Time Frame
Specific Dates for Submission, Judging, and Awards Ceremony
Entries must reflect activities and practices conducted during 2024 and the 12 months prior. The timeline for submissions, judging, and the awards ceremony will be clearly communicated to participants through the official website.

Governing Law
Applicable Law (Irish Law) and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Irish law, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the awards will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
